Spring Bike to Work & School Week postponed

In light of COVID-19 and directions of the Provincial Health Ministry, spring 2020 Bike to Work & School Week in the Central Okanagan has been postponed. 

This announcement follows that of GoByBike BC Society regarding a provincial event postponement.

The event was originally scheduled for May 25-31, and we will work with GoByBike BC Society and our local partners to host the event at a later date when it is safe to do so.

When you’re out for exercise, we encourage you to follow directions from BC's Medical Health Officer, including practicing physical distancing by keeping two metres of space between yourselves and others.

We wish to thank everyone who has offered their support so far and look forward to hosting another successful event at a later date. As well, thank you to those who completed the Help shape future Bike to Work Weeks survey last October. Survey results, which can be viewed at smartTRIPS.ca, will help us improve future events.
