It was another beautiful morning for Bike to Work Week Day 2! Thanks to all who joined us at Grace Baptist Church in Glenmore, where we had breakfast provided by Choices Market, coffee from Bean Scene, bike checks by The Hub, and exercises and a prize draw with Orthoquest. The Tire Toss advanced to 18.5 feet today, with the successful throw by Nancy Mora. Qualifying rounds for the Tire Toss final starts tomorrow - bring you’re A-game to the Westside!

What's in store for Wednesday

Tomorrow we’ll be at the Westbank First Nation office. Join us for breakfast provided by WFN, coffee from Starbucks, bike checks by Sovereign Cycle and a bike obstacle course set up by the City of West Kelowna. You can also try loading your bike on a bus bike rack with BC Transit.

I am one of those people that struggle with getting fitness into my daily life as I lead a very full life ... I am a business owner of not one but two businesses, an artist, a wife and someone that craves downtime (aka watching movies or reading), however the first year I moved back to Kelowna in 2009 I choose to partake in bike to work week and it gave me that kickstart that was needed in the spring to get back on the bike!
