Thank you so much to everyone who rode their bikes last week! We had a great time celebrating with you on Friday evening at Prospera Place. Everyone enjoyed delicious food and beverages provided by L’Arena Caffé and Kettle River Brewing and the great live music by Sad Tom and the Noodles. Thanks to Kelowna Area Cycling Coalition for managing the bike valet, Valeo Health Clinic for those amazing massage and soft tissue release treatments, and Okanagan Acupuncture Centre for the swag and bean bag toss game. Brain Trust Canada was collecting donations and raised $1,513.

Thank you to all of our community contributors and Satellite Station hosts this year. You contribute a lot to BTWW and give people more chances to participate. You rock!

Log your trips online at gobybikebc.ca by Wednesday, June 5, and your team will be entered into a draw to win a Smile Cycle Tour for 4.

The provincial grand prize draw

This year’s provincial grand prize is a Cycling Adventure for two in Italy’s Prosecco region sponsored by Exodus Travels.

To qualify for the grand prize trip draw (& other provincial prizes):
You must log kilometers for at least one trip that you chose to ride your bike instead of drive a motor vehicle during Bike to Work & School Week, May 27 - June 2, 2019. For example, if you chose to ride a bike instead of drive a motor vehicle to work, school, the gym, run errands or meet a friend for coffee, you can log your trip to enter to win the grand prize. Trip(s) must be logged by Friday, June 7.

After you have registered and logged a trip, you MUST enter the Exodus Prize Draw. Please read the sponsor’s terms and conditions located in the Exodus prize draw entry page.

This grand prize trip package includes economy class round trip airfare from the nearest international airport, hotel accommodations, a local leader and planned routes and itineraries with support vehicles to follow. Prize winner must be 19 years of age or older.
