So far there are 235 teams registered… Let’s beat last year’s number of 348 teams! Tell everyone you know about Bike to Work Week and how awesome it is to be a team leader.

Haven’t registered yet? There's still time to register as an individual or as part of a team.

Team leader checklist

Team Leaders, are you ready for Bike to Work Week? Use this checklist to make sure you and your team are on the right track for a great week:

  1. Pick up your team leader kit – The kits are available for pick up at Parkinson Recreation Centre now until the end of BTWW (go to the front desk any time during their open hours). Your kit contains tons of small prizes and goodies for your team and a free BTWW t-shirt. You can also pick up your kit at any Celebration Station during BTWW.
  2. Get your team ready – invite your coworkers to join! They can register online and join the team, or you can add them yourself and log their kilometres for them.
  3. Spread the word – Distribute the event schedule, print passports for everyone, and help your teammates overcome barriers to biking to work. Access more resources on the team leader webpage.
  4. Bike to Work - Visit Celebration and/or Satellite Stations and log your kilometres all week long. Don't forget to include ANY trip where you use a bike instead of a motor vehicle. Check in with your team daily and give away prizes from your team leader kit during the week.
  5. Enter the provincial grand prize draw for a cycling tour in Italy’s Prosecco Hills!
